Attacks on Amazon’s AWS Infrastructure are happening more and more often. Here’s Immediate Solutions on how to fix it!
The problem is that the Internet was designed to be used by centralised corporations. Most of the time we interact with these companies through their websites, which are centralised services.
When you access your bank account online or pay a friend with Cash app PayPal or Venmo, all this information travels over a centralised network owned by one company—the service provider. This means that if there’s an issue on their end (a data breach), then your personal information is at risk. In addition, many of these services charge high fees and can censor how you use the site based on their own terms of service agreements or policies.
Blockchain Lab at Immediate Solutions: We’re developing decentralized apps (DApps) using blockchain technology so users can interact without having to go through a middleman like Facebook or Google. These DApps will run autonomously on Share Parachain networks powered by Ethereum Layer 2 EVM & built on Polkadot Substrate_ using WASM Smart Contracts to store user data in distributed storage systems like IPFS/Swarm instead of centralized databases controlled by one corporation.
By building new protocols because the old ones can be exploited because the problem that centralised online services are increasingly prone to attacks data breaches and censorship is only going to get worse. Take for example the crippling effects the Amazon Breach had today and the aftermath.
Let’s face it the internet is at the mercy of a few powerful companies who can censor or take down any content they choose, with little recourse for users. This has led to an erosion of trust between users and service providers.
With ISI Blockchain Lab & SHARE ParaChain technology we will enable institutional innovation by enabling new ways of storing, sharing and managing information in peer-to-peer networks. This will allow developers to build decentralised applications that run on top of our blockchain infrastructure without having to worry about security or scalability issues associated with running their application on a single blockchain network like Ethereum’s
